The University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria is looking for a dedicated IT Technician for Network and Security. In this role, you will be responsible for a complex network with around 100 switches, more than 450 access points and at least 8000 access ports. This network extends from our in-house data centre to web-based cloud services.

You enjoy optimising workflows and processes through the use of modern enterprise solutions and are ideally familiar with technologies such as Cisco, CheckPoint, ExtremeNetworks, Microsoft Azure, GitLab or Ansible. You will not have to worry about manual installations, as we use zero-touch deployment systems to take care of most of the infrastructure automation.

Your main tasks will include installing, maintaining and continuously developing our IT systems as well as monitoring and reporting on networks. You have completed training with an IT focus, be it through vocational training, school-leaving examination, HTL or an apprenticeship qualification with professional experience.
