Document-check

After receiving your application documents, we will keep you informed about the current status of your application. In addition to an assessment of the documents, applications for professorships/assistance in teaching also go through an appointment procedure with several steps from pre-selection to a hearing before an appointment committee.

Job interview

If you are a good fit for our company and the position on offer, we would like to invite you to an interview with us!

Feedback

After a short internal process, you will receive feedback on your interview by e-mail or telephone.

Honesty and authenticity are particularly important to us - please briefly describe your previous career and why you are the ideal future employee in your letter of motivation.

What do we attach particular importance to in the interview?

During the interview, we also attach great importance to openness and honesty on the part of both interviewers. Ideally, you will have already informed yourself about the FH Upper Austria and taken a look at our homepage.

How long does the application process take?

We ask for your understanding that the application process may take some time depending on the duration of the advertisement, the number of applications and internal procedures. However, we assure you that you will receive information from the UAS Upper Austria by telephone or e-mail as soon as a decision has been made.

How is data protection guaranteed for my personal data?

We assure you that your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential. The data will be stored in accordance with the highest security standards and will not be passed on internally to unauthorized persons or to external persons/positions. Your application documents will only be forwarded to the small group of people involved in the selection process who are relevant to the decision. Your data will be deleted upon completion of the selection process and after a further six months in accordance with the GDPR.

Is it possible to send an unsolicited application?
